Loved the bushland setting amongst nature. Very nicely planned. Units clean and comfortable. Dining areas, food and service all pleasurable. Please supply a toilet brush, this is our only request. Thank you.

Buffet breakfast was fantastic. Dinner was nice. Lake was clean and lake activity was fun. Non heated pool. Spa was out of order. Main room had a smelly couch that looked to have been vomited on and cleaned. We put couch base outside for our stay. 2nd room air con had to be off as it was damp and smelly. Staff were nice.

The room was so dark with only one bedside lamp you could only read at night if you sat in the toilet. The room stank. It had a pungent musty smell, horrific for allergies and asthma, the bedside table and dresser drawers smelt of mould and mildew. I couldn’t put my clothes in them lest I be unable to wear them. Buffet breakfast was ok, but the restaurants are all closed, despite being advertised as open on the internet. NB: there is seafood buffet one night per week in the breakfast restaurant, but this was useless to us as my wife has seafood allergies. There is only a second rate bar menu at top restaurant prices. If I wanted pizza pasta or burgers I would go to a local takeaway or the rsl for half the price. My wife and I have 1 decent holiday every 2 to 3 years, we wanted to eat in a proper restaurant each night, with proper table service. Fried bistro style food in the noisy reception lobby was not what we envisioned from the Novotel. Adding insult to injury, it was cold and rainy each night, but only the outdoor bar was open for drinks, not the indoor half of the same bar. You couldn’t even order a club sandwich on room service, it was pizza and garlic bread only! Complete false advertising in our opinion, and not up to standard. Would not return, and would not encourage anyone else to go there either.
