Incredibly picturesque, Lake Tekapo keeps changing colour. Watch the mist roll in from the mountain valley in the early morning, then see the lake turn teal in colour as the sun breaks through. Come back in the evening to take sunset pictures by the stone church or head to Mount John observatory at night to see the moonlight reflected in the lake’s black waters.
