It is always pleasant staying at the Pavillion. It is time to upgrade the bathrooms. Remove the old baths (no one has over the bath showers) and shower curtains. Put in a frameless shower and tile them ceiling to floor. It will make a very big difference.

I have previously stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. However this stay was not up to expectations. I booked a room for myself and my 2 children (website said the room accommodated 3 people). I had to attend the reception and request a 3rd towel as the room only had 2 towels. When it came time for bed i looked for the fold up bed for the 3 person/child, however there was not one provided in the room. So the I assumed that there was a sofa bed, no wrong again! My child had to sleep on the hard lounge without a sheet. We were fortunate enough to find a spare blanket in the cupboard. The heating in the room barely took the chill off and because there now wasn’t any spare blankets we all froze overnight. The room looked like it had not been vacuumed. When I pulled back the sheets on the bed there was a hair on the sheets and on the pillow there was what looked like a small spot of dried blood. The bathroom was not clean and there was green mold around the spa jets. On the plus side location is great, queen bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were pleasant.
