Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. Bedroom a little tight, tv in the bedroom was tiny and in poor location for moving past it. Dinner at the Oaks bar is very basic, but convenient if you don’t want to venture out of the hotel.

The Pier is located well but the actual apartment looks like it needs work and the kitchen utensils and equipment is not adequate. Not enough utensils, no frying pan and no microwave safe containers at all

We always try to stay at the Oaks Pier when staying on Glenelg. It’s our favourite. We love the location ( back entrance is right on the beach front), depending on budget ocean view or park view options are both great. Great restaurant on premises for breakfast / lunch / dinner plus bar and gaming room. 5-10 minute walk to Jetty Road for shopping and a huge range of dining. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Secure onsite parking ( extra costs)

My wife and I did not get a good nights sleep because of extremely loud music coming from the pub on the ground floor that continued to 2am. We were not warned of the noise that our room would be subject to. When we complained staff shrugged their shoulders - nothing to do with us they said. No compensation was offered. I asked to speak to the manager, but they were not available. I was assured the manager would call me the following day - no one called. In addition the room was not clean; bathroom and kitchen surfaces were grimy. We would not return their or recommend to friends and family - instead we have been sharing our disappointing experience with them.

Loved our view and everything. Only constructive criticism is the bath in room 210 bathroom is slippery to climb into and dangerous. It needs a hold rail or non slip pads on the bath base.

The rooms were pretty old and needed work there was mould in the bathroom that was a put off the rooms hadn’t changed in the last 15 years
